Disney Dreamlight Valley Christmas Event Guide (2024)

2024-12-25

The festive cheer has returned to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and this year’s Christmas event, The Gift of Giving, is bringing holiday magic in full swing. Running from December 18 to December 31, this annual celebration always offers exciting activities, but this year you get to build your own Snowman!

How to Build a Snowman in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Step 1: Locate the Red Chest

Head out into your Valley and look for a red chest. These spawn randomly, but I found mine right next to Scrooge’s Store. Once opened, the chest reveals a memory showing a snowman diagram with three boxes of materials required for building. These numbers for the materials are all in Roman numerals, but let me save you some trouble.

Step 2: Collect Materials

Here’s what you’ll need for each stage of the snowman:

BoxMaterialsWhere to Find Them
A50 SnowballsUse your Pickaxe to break ice shards in the Frosted Heights.
B4 Hardwood, 18 Dandelions, 23 FabricHardwood: Found near trees in the Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and Frosted Heights.
Dandelions: Found growing wild in the Peaceful Meadow.
Fabric: Crafted from Cotton, which can be grown from seeds purchased at Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau.
C10 Green Passion Lilies, 15 Fabric, 1 CarrotGreen Passion Lilies: Found growing in the Frosted Heights.
Carrots: Grown from seeds purchased at Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow.
Fabric: As above.

Step 3: Build the Snowman

Once you have the materials, head to the Frosted Heights, where you’ll find a giant snowball waiting for you. Add the items step-by-step:

  1. Start with the 50 Snowballs from Box A to shape the base.
  2. Add the materials from Box B to complete the middle section.
  3. Finish the snowman with the items from Box C, including the Carrot for its nose!

Your completed Mad Hatter Snowman can be placed anywhere in your Valley to spread festive joy.
