The Sphax PureBDCraft resource pack is the most popular pack. Specifically designed to make Minecraft look like a comic, this pack is probably the most popular comic-style resource pack of all time. Each resolution goes from 16x all the way up to 512x, with some huge jumps in quality as you move up to the higher-resolution versions. The 128x pack is right in the middle and seems to indicate what you can expect from Sphax PureBDCraft, so let's take a closer look at that version.

The 128x version of Sphax PureBDCraft may be too difficult for some computers, but if you find yourself unable to use it, or want something that looks better, just remember that the package comes from multiple versions. The textures are bright and colorful and there seems to be a very strong yellow presence in this resource pack, so that even green textures like grass seem to have a yellow tint to them. Textures are up to date and complete, even with Minecraft 1.10, which means Sphax PureBDCraft is as good as the latest version of the game.

This resource pack also comes with some add-ons to further enhance the experience for players with the processing power to run them. For example, the More 3D Projects add-on, which provides better 3D models for 3D and 3D models, is just one of many add-ons available for PureBDCraft. This pack is thorough as it replaces every texture in Minecraft with something new. Purists will shy away, but others will love this bag.

How to install the Sphax PureBDCraft resource pack?

Start Minecraft. Click "Options" in the Start menu. Click "Resource Packs" in the options menu. In the resource pack menu, click Open Resource Pack Folder. Place the .zip file you downloaded in the resource pack folder.
