The Secrets of Magic resource pack was originally produced for the Secrets of Magic map inspired by the popular SNES game of the same name. However, while this design was primarily intended to be released with the map, the creators have only recently made it available to the public so that players can express their thoughts. It's a pretty solid resource pack that takes the popular game's art style from 1993 and then replicates it in Minecraft, which is a pretty spectacular job. If you're looking for something new, or if you still remember the game's content and want to reminisce in nostalgia, we highly recommend this pack.
Perhaps most impressive is the fact that it has some of the cleanest textures we've seen yet. The pack's textures have an incredible amount of detail, but despite that detail, they don't seem to have any noticeable noise, which results in some pretty awesome visuals. On top of clean textures, texture packs feature vibrant colors that take visuals to the next level.
The Secrets of Magic resource pack has a resolution of x16, which is pretty crazy because the highly detailed textures would initially lead you to believe that this texture pack should be at a pretty high resolution. Fortunately, due to the low resolution, players will be able to run resource packs without any frame drops, even when playing Minecraft on a PC with low-end hardware.
