Rubix is an awesome resource pack that you will undoubtedly enjoy using if you feel that Minecraft's vanilla art style is too noisy and you need something smooth and clean to make the experience easy on the eyes. A lot of Minecraft resource packs tend to implement innovative new art styles in the mix which look pretty good, but they can sometimes become a bit over the top and you can't really use them all the time. However, Rubix is a timeless resource pack that you can look at for hours without getting tired of it because of how smooth and clean it is.
One of the best things about the Rubix resource pack is that it has a very efficient color palette, which is very nice to have. Textures are always easy on the eyes because of their bright colors, simple textures, and beautiful shapes, and you never feel like they become overbearing. The pack also focuses on Minecraft's blocky art style and does its best to implement it rather than smooth textures to make it look more realistic. Of course, it goes without saying that the level of detail in resource packs like this isn't usually very high, so you shouldn't really expect any HD textures from Rubix.
The Rubix resource pack is made at x16 resolution because its simplistic art style does not require a higher resolution than this. Perhaps the best thing about this low resolution is that players will be able to use this pack without any framerate issues.
