With over 15 different Kagune and Quinque in GHOUL://RE, it can be quite confusing for most players to know which ones are the best choice. After all, even though each Kagune and Quinque has their unique skills and abilities, not all of them are built the same. Some of them are much better than others, so to help you choose the best ones, we've compiled a comprehensive tier list for every Kagune and Quinque in GHOUL://RE.
Tier | Kagune |
---|---|
S | Ken, Takizawa, Noro |
A | Tsukiyama, Yamori, Nishio |
B | Wing, Beaked |
The above tier list provides you with a general overview of the Kagune that you can awaken in GHOUL://RE with the S tier being the best legendary rarity Kagune with high evolution potential and combat skills. Whereas the B-tier Kagune are common rarity ones which, while not bad for beginners, don't fare well in the late game.
If you're unsure of how to awaken your Kagune, feel free to check out our Kagune Guide for GHOUL://RE to get everything you need to know.
These are arguably the best Kagune in GHOUL://RE. Even though they are of Legendary rarity and only have a 3% chance of awakening your character. Here's a more detailed breakdown of each S-tier Kagune and why they're better than the rest:
Kagune | Type | Reason |
---|---|---|
Ken | Rinkaku | + High DPS, the highest among all Kagune. + Decently high attack speed. + Decent attack range. Overall great. |
Takizawa | Ukaku | + Good DPS, with high burst attack. + Attacks are AoE-based, and excel in clearing multiple players. + Strong Aerial attack skill with high DMG. |
Noro | Bikaku | + Slow attack speed, but extremely high damage. + Attacks can Knockback targets. Great at 1v1 situations. + Basic attacks and skills have decent AoE. Overall quite good. |
The A-tier Kagune in GHOUL://RE are mostly the rare rarity ones, which have a higher (11% drop chance) probability of awakening your character. While not the best, they are great in early to mid-game. Here's each A-tier Kagune and why they're ranked in this tier:
Kagune | Type | Reason |
---|---|---|
Tsukiyama | Koukaku | + Decent DPS, great at close to mid-range. + High attack speed, with stab attacks. + Decent AoE at close range, with minor Knockback. |
Yamori | Rinkaku | + Beginner-friendly, and decently high DPS. + Long range, best for attacking at a distance. + Limited AoE, but excels at 1v1. |
Nishio | Bikaku | + Best common-rarity Kagune. + Exceks at 1v1 fight, with high DPS for its rarity. + Skills and Attack have a decent range. |
Finally, the B-Tier Kagune includes the common rarity Kagune with the lowest attack and usability. Unfortunately, they have the highest probability of awakening (86% chance), so you should try to reroll to a better Kagune as soon as you get a B-tier one.
Tier | Quinque |
---|---|
S | IXA, Narukami |
A | Scorpion, Demon Yamada, Serrate, Nutcracker |
B | Doujima, Kajiri, Yukimura |
The above tier list provides you with an overview of the Quinque that you can craft in GHOUL://RE with the S tier being the best legendary rarity Quinque with almost overpowered combat skills. Whereas the B-tier Kagune are common rarity ones that are easy to craft but don't fare well in the late game.
If you're unsure of how to unlock or evolve your Quinque, feel free to check out our Quinque Guide for GHOUL://RE to get everything you need to know. Do note that the above list does not consider Standard Issue Quinque since they're available to all.
These are the best Quinque in GHOUL://RE. They belong to the Legendary rarity and require quite a few rare materials and blueprints to craft. Regardless, here's a more detailed breakdown of each S-tier Quinque and why they're better than the rest:
Quinque | Type | Reason |
---|---|---|
IXA | Koukaku | + Very High DPS, with both close combat and ranged mode. + Multiple combat skills based on mode. Has a very long attack range. + Insanely strong critical attack. Best for ranged 1v1 situations. |
Narukami | Ukaku | + Similarly high DPS, with both ranged as well as combat mode. + Has multiple skills, with tons of AoE attacks. Best against multiple players, + Very high attack speed, but range is somewhat limited. |
The A-tier Quinque in GHOUL://RE are the rare rarity ones, which are relatively easier to craft in comparison to the S tier, but their blueprints are hard to come by. While not the best, they are great in early to mid-game. So, here's each A-tier Quinque and why they're ranked in this tier:
Kagune | Type | Reason |
---|---|---|
Scorpion | Bikaku | + Best common rarity Quinque. + High DPS, and slash attacks. + Also has AoE combat skills, overall good pick. |
Demon Yamada | Bikaku | + Very high attack damage, but slow attack speed. + Basic attacks and skills have a Knockback effect. + Every hit from this Quinque deals AoE damage. |
Serrate | Bikaku, Koukaku | + High DPS, as well as attack speed. + Good skillset and combinations, but lacks AoE. + Ideal for close range and 1v1. Requires practice. |
Nutcracker | Bikaku, Ukaku | + Decent DPS, heavily relies on burst attacks + Lacks good AoE skill, but excels at taking down 1v1. + Has decent range, and maneuverability. |
Finally, the B-Tier Quinque includes the common rarity ones which are the easiest to unlock but have limited skills and combat capabilities. They have much simpler crafting recipes and are more commonly found when using Blueprints.
Unfortunately, Quinque cannot be rerolled in GHOUL://RE. Since they are crafted using materials and blueprints, you can easily switch between Quinque or craft a better one. So, you have a lot of flexibility and can even buy a standard Quinque.
Whereas, Kagune are permanent, and cannot be switched that easily. Instead, you have the option to reroll your Kagune if you want to change it. Here are all the ways through which you can do that:
Apart from the above methods, your final option would be to reset your character completely via the Perma-death event. Your character will be reset and if you spawn as a Ghoul, you'll have a chance to unlock a new Kagune on awakening.
