What is Simplista?

Website: https://www.shivamzter.com

Simplista is a resource package made by the author "Shivamzter" that fully complies with the LabPBR standard. It is designed to reduce the noise in the original texture and provide clearer and more delicate visual effects.

The 128x resolution version includes add-ons and features such as CTM (Connected Textures Mod) and is available on Patreon and Gumroad. We also provide a comparison of different resolutions.

Comparison with the original Direct comparison with the original textures highlights the difference brought by the resource pack, all thanks to the application of LabPBR technology.

It is recommended to use it with RRe36’s Kappa light and shadow texture package.

The enhanced image quality of Simplista 128x makes textures smoother and clearer, providing a more vivid gaming experience.

LabPBR Compliant Simplista is a hand-drawn, high-quality resource pack designed for use with LabPBR-enabled lights and shadows. By providing normal maps and specular maps that can be used by light and shadow, a variety of advanced effects such as parallax occlusion mapping, roughness, and metallic textures are achieved, further enhancing the gaming experience.

Some demonstrations of Simplista Some demonstration features of Simplista are retroactively compatible with Minecraft version 1.16, providing different resolutions from 128x to 512x, ensuring broad hardware compatibility. Custom models further enhance the experience, while the use of CTM (Connected Textures Mod) eliminates the duplication of textures placed adjacent to each other.

Resource Pack Add-ons Take your experience to the next level These add-ons provide additional textures and features. Rewards utilize CTM and provide textures such as entities and GUI.

Vegetation adds custom models and additional textures, enriching the diversity of vegetation.

Creatures are coming soon and will add creature textures to the game to further enhance the experience.

Items are coming soon and will add item textures to the game to further enhance the experience.

How to install?

Please follow the installation guide. If you have any questions or encounter any problems, please join the Discord server and a member of the community or myself will be more than happy to help you!

To take full advantage of all Physically Based Rendering (PBR) features, you must use LabPBR-enabled lights and shadows. I recommend using Kappa or KappaPT lighting developed by Rre36.

Please note that you may not use this resource pack for commercial purposes. You are allowed to edit this resource pack for your personal use only.
