All Unit Familiars and How to Get Them in Anime Vanguards (1.5 Update)

While the main highlight of each Anime Vanguards update is the new units, update 1.5 has introduced a new unit type called Familiars. But getting those sidekicks is easier said than done. Here's how to get a Familiar in Anime Vengauards.

How to get Turbo Granny Unit Familiar in Anime Vanguards

The only way to get Turbo Granny Familiar in Anime Vanguards is by defeating bosses in Occult Raid mode. You can beat any boss since they all have a 1% chance of dropping Turbo Granny. Make sure to take your best units, as these bosses can be tough to take down. Unit Familiars can't be purchased, so the only way to get them is through boss drops.

Turbo Granny Passives List

Currently, there is only one unit Familiar in Anime Vanguards called Turbo Granny. Since this creature was introduced in update 1.5, we'll probably see more of them in the future. Note that damage, crit chance, and crit damage values are random, so you may, for example, have two Turbo Granny unit familiars with different buff values. Here's the Turbo Granny passives list:

• Granny Guidance
  • Increases elemental damage of the buffed unit.
• Beckoning Cat
  • Increases critical chance.
  • Increases critical damage with each attack until a critical hit lands. The crit damage resets afterward.

How to use Turbo Granny Familiar

To use Familiar, you must equip a unit with it. Don't worry, you can unequip Familiar any time the same way as you equip it. Follow the step-by-step instructions below on how to put Granny Familiar on a unit:

1. Click on the Units option.
2. Click on the Familiars tab.
3. Select a Familiar you wish to use.
4. Click on the Equip button.
5. Choose a unit from the list.
6. Click the Select tab.

What are Familiars in Anime Vanguards

Added in the 1.5 update, Unit Familiars act as a companion to your units and give them buffs. These buffs range from an increase in elemental damage to critical damage and a significant increase in landing a critical hit as well.
