Arcane Conquest Class Tier List [CALAMITY] (January 2025)

2025-01-29

There are five classes in Arcane Conquest. Each of them has its own strengths and weaknesses, but together they can form a highly efficient team of adventurers. In this guide, we'll provide you with a tier list of all classes in the game, including their stats as well as unique features and abilities.

Every class in Arcane Quest has access to various skills, gear, weapons, amulets, runes, and upgrades. Some classes are more proficient in melee damage, while others have higher spell damage. In this regard, it’s better to choose skills and gear according to your character’s scaling, whether it’s more focused on HP, such as in the case with Paladin, or on DPS, as in Champion.

Note that all classes get the same skill tree, so use it to balance out your character’s drawbacks. For example, if your base build has low HP, then focus on getting skills that will improve that aspect. The same goes for all other stats, such as sustained damage, range, and cooldown times, especially for spellcasters, who typically have very thin armor.

S-Tier – Top Melee and Magic DPS

ClassStatsPros/Cons

Champion
Burst DPS: 3
Sustained DPS: 5
Max Health: 4
Spell Range: 2
+Highest sustained melee damage in the game.
+Best class for dungeon runs.
+Increases melee attack over time.
+Second highest HP pool in the game.
-Close range class with melee range only.

Elementalist
Burst DPS: 3
Sustained DPS: 5
Max Health: 2
Spell Range: 5
+Longest spell range in the game.
+Different spells compound their effects.
+Has the highest sustained spell damage.
-Low survivability, but performs well if runs with Champion or Paladin.

Champion and Elementalist are two of the strongest melee and magic classes in the game. The Elementalist's weapon is especially useful, as it reduces cooldown times, especially when facing powerful bosses. Champion is more suitable for grinding dungeon runs but not as good in terms of boss fights. There are certain moves that bosses do where Champion just can't take without the support of other classes.

A-Tier – Best Support Classes

ClassStatsPros/Cons

Paladin
Burst DPS: 4
Sustained DPS: 2
Max Health: 5
Spell Range: 3
+Best tank class in the game.
+Best team supporter in the game.
+Focused heavily on damage negation and healing.
-Has very low sustained damage and range.

Shadowmancer
Burst DPS: 5
Sustained DPS: 3
Max Health: 3
Spell Range: 4
+Highest burst damage in the game.
+Has the ability to steal enemy's HP.
+Grants HP bonus of up to 125%.
+Has access to both close and long range moves.
-Low sustain damage and armor.
-Some moves require sacrificing your health.

These classes would be more suitable for team play, whereas top-tier classes can run the game in solo mode. Paladin is actually the most important team class due to its excellent tanking skills, while Shadowmancer has huge HP buffs. Try to get Paladin's Fortitude weapon for some serious damage buffs, and be sure to upgrade it with corresponding fragments.

B-Tier – Weakest Class

ClassStatsPros/Cons

Arcanist
Burst DPS: 4
Sustained DPS: 4
Max Health: 3
Spell Range: 4
+Has the second longest range in the game.
+Spells can be charged for higher damage.
-Has low HP and armor.
-Requires keeping constant distance from enemies.

Arcanist has the lowest stats in the game thus far, making it the least desirable class to choose, unless you like to play the game in harder mode. This class must use staff weapons, which are not efficient at melee combat, so you'll have to stay away from your enemies while casting spells that may require charging for decent damage output. However, since charging takes time, it slows you down significantly.
