Where to Find All Cabin Door Symbols in Lost Records Tape 1 (Locations)

When Swann finds herself alone inside the mysterious cabin in the woods during Tape 1 / Scene 13, titled Cabin in the Woods, you'll need to unlock a door secured with a padlock featuring strange symbols. Solving this puzzle is crucial for allowing the other girls to enter and for the story to progress. To unlock the padlock, you’ll need to find three symbols hidden within the cabin. Symbol #1 Location - Cabin Door Puzzle in Lost Records

1. The first symbol is locked in place on the padlock and cannot be changed.
2. You’ll also find the same symbol right above the door.
3. When viewed through the camcorder, you’ll notice interference on the screen—this indicates that the symbol is correct and should be used to unlock the padlock.
4. Any other symbols you encounter inside the cabin that don’t produce the same effect are not part of the solution.

Symbol #2 Location

1. For the second symbol, turn towards the interior of the cabin.
2. To the right, near the kitchen, you’ll see a rope hanging from the attic door.
3. Pull it down to lower the ladder, then climb up to the attic.
4. The second symbol is located there.
5. To make it easier to spot, turn off the camcorder’s light—these symbols glow in the dark.

Symbol #3 Location

You’ll find the third symbol on the bottom of a can in the kitchen. Inspect it closely by rotating it so the bottom becomes visible to reveal the marking.

Symbol #4 Location

The fourth symbol is hidden behind a bear trap mounted on the wall near the window. Interact with the trap once to close it, revealing the symbol above.

Once you’ve identified symbols 2-4, enter them into the padlock in the correct order, and the cabin door will unlock.
