To get the last suit upgrade and proceed past the Abyssal Zenith in the Mariana's Veil, you'll need an Angler's Veil, and getting one is anything but easy. Luckily, we've got some tips that'll help you out. Here is how to feed the anglerfish and get the Angler's Lantern in Fisch.
Within the Mariana's Veil's Abyssal Zenith's pool, there are 3 Anglerfish roaming, and if you enter the pool empty-handed, they'll hunt you down and kill you. To put them to sleep and avoid death, you need to feed them either an Orca or a Kraken. You can get Orcas from Orca Migration events and Krakens from Kraken events at Atlantis.
Once you enter the pool with one of those two in hand, the Anglerfish will approach you, and that's when you can interact with one of them and feed it. Once you feed an Anglerfish, it will fall asleep for 5 minutes and fall to the bottom of the pool. Other Anglerfish will remain hostile, though, so you'll either have to feed those as well or enter the pool while they are on the other end.
Once you've fed an Anglerfish and it has fallen to the bottom, you'll be able to pick up the Angler's Lantern dangling on its head (hold to interact; you have to be close to the lantern itself and not just the Anglerfish). You'll need to have diving gear and flippers to do this. If you feed all three Anglerfish, you'll be able to collect all three lanterns without worrying.
If you want to feed only one Anglerfish, make sure to do that on the edge of the pool. Then, wait for the other two to move to the opposite side of the pond, dive down, and collect the lantern. You'll have at least a few tries even if you die, so be patient.
Once you've gotten the Angler's Lantern, place it on the Deep Upgrade altar, and you're done. That concludes our guide on how to feed the Anglerfish and get the Angler's Lantern in Fisch. For more guides, visit the Fisch category here on PGG.
