There are very different creatures you can come across while searching the different locations in R.E.P.O. As far as I can tell, you can run into any of these creatures in any of the three levels currently available in Early Access. | Valuable Thrower | Grab your items and run away before they get thrown. |

| Robe | Run away if you see it; it has to be close to grab you. |
| Bang | Jump over them to trigger explosions early and escape. |
| Ceiling Eye | Move out of its line of sight and avoid looking at it. |
| Headman | Hide before it sees you; it can track your hiding spot. |
| Tumbler | Turn off the flashlight, crouch, and walk away. |
| Bowtie | Don't look at it; outrun it and avoid hiding under tables. |
| Gnome | Pick them up and throw them against walls or furniture. |
| Animal | Outrun or hide from it; it slaps things but isn't aggressive. |
| Hunter | Stay quiet and move carefully to avoid alerting him. |
| Hidden | Look for smoke and footprints; hiding might work. |
| Spewer | No effective escape is known, but hiding might help. |
| Floater | Dodge the purple orbs and move to another room. |
| Duck | Turn off flashlight, crouch, and walk away. |
| Runner | Run away; hiding under tables may work. |
| Thin Man | Don't look at it; move away when you hear giggling. |
