Game manufacturer AQUAPLUS announced on November 10, 2024 that the new rebirth of the company's flagship work, the beautiful girl's love game "ToHeart", will be launched on the PC Steam and Nintendo Switch platform in spring 2025.
AQUAPLUS simultaneously releases the new development plan "project kizuna" (Note: This is not the last game name, the name of the game development project), which is a new role-playing game with the demand of "no longer letting regrets repeat the same mistakes, the voyage of bonds is about to begin."
"ToHeart" is a visual novel love game launched by Leaf on the PC platform in 1997, and was launched on the PlayStation platform in 1999. AQUAPLUS said that "ToHeart Remake" was originally an adventure game with the theme of academy love story. It was widely praised after its launch, and subsequently launched an animation work and also produced a game sequel. In this publicly reborn "ToHeart Remake", the characters are drawn in full 3D, and the game screen is announced for the first time.
The theme song of "ToHeart Remake" is "Feeling Heart" and will be interpreted by YURiKA, while the protagonist's childhood sweetheart Akira Kana will be the voice actor Kana Ichinose, and the robot maid Multi HMX-12 is voiced by Masahira Yamamiya. The game plan will be launched on PC Steam and Nintendo Switch platforms in spring 2025, with a digital download (untaxed) of 2,800 yen, while the Nintendo Switch box version will be (untaxed) of 3,980 yen.
AQUAPLUS simultaneously introduces the concept map and production team of the new RPG "project kizuna" during the event. "Project kizuna" is produced by Shimokawa Naoya, and is supervised by "Sacrifice and the Snow in the Snow" and "GOKEN" Kengo Uchibori. The script is led by "The Praise" series writer Somitsu Suga, and the character design is set by the original paintings of "The Praise" series and "ToHeart 2" and the character designers Guruki / Mumimiri.
